Dayton's Chris Wright Out 4-6 Weeks
Dayton freshman forward Chris Wright will miss at least four-to-six weeks after he fractured his right ankle against Rhode Island on Wednesday night. The star rookie suffered the injury in the first half when he landed awkwardly on a reverse lay-up. "This is a difficult situation for a young athlete to be faced with," coach Brian Gregory said. "But the most important thing right now is that Chris gets healthy." Wright's production has slipped in the last month, as he was hampered by an ankle injury that forced him to miss one game and limited his play in the two others prior to the URI game. He is averaging 10.4 points and 6.0 rebounds per game this season.
