New Articles, Radio Appearance
Collegehoops.net: Player of the Week: Shan Foster, Vanderbilt: I actually did post this article here on March Madness All Season, but I'll link to it again anyway. Foster was my pick as Player of the Week, due to his outstanding play over three games last week, helping Vanderbilt stay undefeated.
Big East Basketball Report: Findlay Prep Profile: I have contributed a few stories to the Big East Basketball Report over the past few months, and this was another one. Findlay Prep is a prep school out in Nevada that has five Division-I players already committed and another one expected to sign in the fall. I talked to Michael Peck, Findlay's coach, and discussed some of his key juniors, the development of the program and why they have been so successful this year.
Pro Fantasy Sports: Real Deal or Fluke? (Power Conference Report): I've posted this column here frequently in the past, but I decided to hold off on it this week until today. As usual, I discuss and analyze ten players who have had an interesting increase in production recently, and predict whether it will continue or if the player will revert back to his old form.
Collegehoops.net: Game of the Week: No. 4 Washington State at No. 5 UCLA: Clearly, the best game of the weekend is WSU at UCLA. Two Pac-10 powers go at it in what could be a conference title game and Final Four preview. I breakdown each team's key players and tendencies, and also analyze the match-up and discuss three keys for each team in order to win. Plus, I was on a conference call with both UCLA coach Ben Howland and Washington State Tony Bennett, so I have some quotes from that.
Also, if you would rather listen to me than read what I've written, check out my radio apperance from Monday afternoon over on BetUS.com. It's a 30-minute or so spot, and nearly everything relevant in the college basketball world gets discussed. We talk about Memphis vs. UNC, Washington State, the Pac-10, USC, the classic North Carolina-Clemson game from the weekend, UCLA and its injuries, and much more.
