Top 10 Inside-Outside Combos

Even if you are stacked in the backcourt, you may be weak on the interior. Conversely, a team may be loaded in the paint, but not very powerful at the guards. To win the title, production from both inside and outside are necessary. Here are the top ten perimeter-post duos:

In order to make the list, a team needed a guard and a big man; that is why you won't see Alando Tucker or Jared Dudley on the list.

1. Texas (D.J. Augustin, Kevin Durant): Aside from the fact that they are both freshmen, there are not a lot of weaknesses with these two. Both have the ability to score at will.
2. Texas A&M (Acie Law, Joseph Jones): Law is extremely clutch late in the game, and Jones is very difficult to stop down as long as he stays out of foul trouble.
3. Florida (Taurean Green, Joakim Noah): Green is the unsung hero of the Gators' junior class, while Noah is starting to get the swagger back that he developed last year.
4. Nevada (Marcelus Kemp, Nick Fazekas): Very underrated duo. Kemp is a big-time scorer from the wing, while Fazekas is one of the best big men in the country.
5. Ohio State (Mike Conley, Greg Oden): Conley has developed into one of the premier point guards in the country, while Oden has the ability to dominate down low.
6. Kansas (Brandon Rush, Julian Wright): Kansas has so many weapons--these are just two of them. Rush is a terrific shooter and scorer, while Wright can do it all.
7. Oral Roberts (Ken Tutt, Caleb Green): Green is one of the most dominant big men in the nation, while Tutt has been a super scorer throughout his career.
8. Creighton (Nate Funk, Anthony Tolliver): Another underrated combo. Funk is a very good scorer from all over the court, while Tolliver is a solid big man down low.
9. North Carolina (Wayne Ellington, Tyler Hansbrough): Ellington can really shoot the ball from deep, while Hansbrough is relentless around the basket.
10. Purdue (David Teague, Carl Landry): The Boilermakers don't get a lot of pub, but this duo is for real. Teague can shoot the three, while Landry is a dominant big man.
