1. Duke (J.J. Redick, Shelden Williams): Two of the best in the country at their respective positions, Redick and Williams carry the Blue Devils.
2. LSU (Darrell Mitchell, Glen Davis): Mitchell does everything for the Tigers on the perimeter, while Davis is unstoppable down in the low block.
3. Michigan State (Maurice Ager, Paul Davis): Ager is a supremely athletic player who is a great scorer. Davis has the ability to dominate at times.
4. Pittsburgh (Carl Krauser, Aaron Gray): Krauser is a good all-around guard, while Gray is the most improved player in the country.
5. California (Ayinde Ubaka, Leon Powe): Ubaka is a vastly underrated guard who can score, and Powe is the most dominant post man in the nation.
6. San Diego State (Brandon Heath, Marcus Slaughter): Underrated duo that has two players capable of taking over a game. Aztecs go as far they take them.
7. Illinois (Dee Brown, James Augustine): Although Brown has struggled with his shot, he has the ability to carry the Illini. Augustine is tough to stop when he gets the ball.
8. Oral Roberts (Ken Tutt, Caleb Green): Green is one of the most dominant big men in the nation, while Tutt has been a super scorer since he recovered from his injury.
9. Alabama (Ronald Steele, Jermareo Davidson): Steele is capable of breaking out and having big games, while Davidson is a long and athletic rebounder.

At last some sense at least! And actualy, Redick and Williams ARE the two best players in college at thier respective positions. See unanimous First Team All Americans.
