Top 10 Inside-Outside Combos

Even if you are stacked in the backcourt, you may be weak on the interior. Conversely, a team may be loaded in the paint, but not very powerful at the guards. To win the title, production from both inside and outside is necessary. Here are the top ten perimeter-post duos:

Note: In order to make the list, a team needed a guard and a legit post player. Hence, the reason there is no Sam Young or Raymar Morgan anywhere to be found.

1. North Carolina (Ty Lawson, Tyler Hansbrough): These two are two of the best in the country at their respective positions; both can carry this team to a victory.
2. Kansas (Sherron Collins, Cole Aldrich): After hiding from the spotlight last season, these two are ready to take control of the Jayhawks and lead them to wins.
3. Oklahoma (Willie Warren, Blake Griffin): Warren has really come on strong in February, while Griffin is clearly the best player in the country right now.
4. Arizona State (James Harden, Jeff Pendergraph): A vastly underrated duo, Harden is one of the best players in the country, while Pendergraph is solid inside.
5. Connecticut (A.J. Price, Hasheem Thabeet): Price is going to be a major factor in the Big Dance, while Thabeet gives UConn a weapon that no one in the country has.
6. Washington (Justin Dentmon, Jon Brockman): I could have gone with Isaiah Thomas instead of Dentmon; the real key here is Brockman, a double-double lock.

7. Pittsburgh (Levance Fields, DeJuan Blair): Fields is one of the nation's most underrated point guards, while Blair has been a force all season long for the Panthers.
8. Memphis (Tyreke Evans, Robert Dozier): The Tigers are hitting their stride at the right time, mainly as a result of Evans’ move to point guard. Dozier has experience.
9. Villanova (Scottie Reynolds, Dante Cunningham): Reynolds is one of the nation’s best at hitting difficult shots, while Cunningham has improved greatly this season.
10. Arizona (Nic Wise, Jordan Hill): Wise has proven that he is capable of coming through with big games, while Hill is a future lottery pick in the NBA Draft.
