Players that can carry their teams to a win or two:
Mike Green, Butler: One of the best point guards in the country, Green is strong and tough-minded. He can do everything on the court.
Demetric Bennett, South Alabama: The Jaguars had one of their best seasons ever, and this scoring and rebounding machine at guard is a major reason why.
Al Fisher, Kent State: The Golden Flashes are very balanced, but Fisher came up huge late in the season and can really carry Kent State.
Edwin Ubiles, Siena: The Saints are a potential upset pick in the first-round, with Ubiles leading the way. He is tough to guard, and is a very good scorer and rebounder.
Jeremy Pargo, Gonzaga: He is one of the toughest point guards to keep out of the lane due to his strength and quickness. Nearly impossible to stop when he wants to score.
Stephen Curry, Davidson: One of the best shooters and scorers in the country, at any level. Curry has made a name for himself against big-name teams; watch him do it again.
Patrick Mills/Diamon Simpson, Saint Mary’s: The Gaels are going to be a threat against any team they play, and this inside-outside duo is the reason. Mills is only a frosh.
Courtney Lee, Western Kentucky: He is flat-out one of the best wings in the country. He is strong and athletic, and can create mismatches all over the floor.

Wink Adams, UNLV: He has been here before, and single-handedly willed the Rebels to victory over BYU in the MWC Tournament. Great scorer and leader at guard.
Trent Plaisted, BYU: The lefty is a go-to-guy in the post for the Cougars. He is athletic and can finish around the rim, or step out and hit the mid-range jumper.

Players that will not last more than one round:
Will Thomas, George Mason: The Elite Eight hero from a couple of years ago, Thomas is a dominant lefty that is a threat to get a double-double every night out.
Michael Jenkins, Winthrop: Shooting sensation had a huge Big South Tournament, and can really hurt opponents if he gets hot from long-range. Keep an eye on him.
Reggie Larry, Boise State: A 20-10 lock every night out, Larry is a match-up nightmare for opposing forwards. He can score in a variety of ways and can carry Boise.
Garrison Carr, American: One of the best shooters in the country had an unbelievable February, and is hot right now. If he continues his outstanding shooting, watch out Tennessee.
Josh Akognon, CS-Fullerton: The Titans are playing their best basketball of the season, and can really score. This Washington State transfer has been lighting it up lately.
Robert Jarvis, Oral Roberts: He seemed like he would be out of the Summit tourney, but came back just in time to win the automatic bid. He is very tough to stop offensively.
Ryan Wittman, Cornell: The Big Red finally broke the Penn-Princeton stranglehold on the Ivy; Wittman is one of the reason why. He is an inside-outside threat on the wing.
Brandon Johnson, San Diego: If he gets hot, he is going to be a nightmare for Connecticut. He looks off-balance when he shoots jumpers, but he can knock them down against anyone.
