- Indiana senior forward D.J. White is expected to play tonight against Purdue despite suffering a sprained left knee in Saturday's game against Michigan State. (Indianapolis Star)

- On the other hand, North Carolina sophomore point guard Ty Lawson will miss Wednesday's game against North Carolina State with a sprained left ankle that has kept him out of four straight games. (Raleigh News & Observer)

- Despite shooting less than 37 percent from the field and just 24 percent from three-point range, Louisville was still able to grind out a victory over Syracuse. (Louisville Courier-Journal)
