Negedu Asks Out of Letter of Intent from UA
If Olson lets him out of his letter of intent, he said he plans on looking at schools right away. If not, he said he is likely to return to Brewster Academy for another season, although he would rather not take that route. "What can I prove by going back to high school for one more year? Nothing," Negedu said. "I've got nothing to prove. I had a great season. We won everything. I was the MVP of the league. I was the Gatorade Player of the Year. What do I have to prove in high school anymore? Nothing. I'm just ready to go to college . . . but I do not picture myself at Arizona anymore. I just want my release." Negedu, an athletic power forward, is ranked as the No. 40 recruit in the country by Rivals.com.

What does he have to prove by leaving? He still will have an excellent coaching staff with great exposure now that Lute is back.
Arizona basketball under Lute Olson is dead. Lute's staff left from under him, he didn't not dismiss them all. Josh Pastner even abandoned the sinking ship for an assistant position at Memphis, which is where Negedu will be signing I might add. Lute's lost his mind, it's time us Tucsonans recognize it, before he does any future damage to the program
Signing at Memphis........WRONG!!!!!!!!!! DON'T EVER OVERLOOK BRUCE PEARL AND TEH VOLS!!!
Iowa State was the 2nd leader for getting Negedu. It's very possible that Iowa State could get this kid if he leaves Arizona. Man, if Iowa State had Negedu to go along with Craig Brackins, that would be sick. ISU would become a big contender in the Big 12.
